Competitiveness

The competitiveness of our undergraduate degrees is exemplified by the career choices of our Engineering Physics graduates. A recent survey revealed that, of the 24 graduates, 9 have completed (or are pursuing) advanced graduate degrees (2 PhD in Physics, 1 PhD in Nuclear Engineering, 1 MS in Physics, 2 MS in Electrical Engineering, 1 PhD student in Mechanical Engineering) and 18 found employment with industry, small business, government agencies or national laboratories (Figure 4). The survey also revealed that our EP alumni are recruited for diverse jobs in science and engineering, and they are frequently hired for well-paid and high-level positions.
