Diversity

The number of first-generation undergraduate students enrolled in Engineering Physics is close to 15%. Similarly the other programs at NMSU, most Engineering Physics majors are New Mexico residents and the program has large minority participation, especially when it comes to Hispanics. Figure 2 shows the demographics by ethnicity of the students enrolled in Engineering Physics (Fall of 2012).
